Kinematics
is enormously relevant to everyday life.
It looks
at the mechanics of motion without necessarily looking at what has
happened before. In its most basic form, Kinematics is used to determine
acceleration and deceleration as well as displacement and relative
velocity.
This
website is designed to outline and describe topics that are part of
the Kinematics section of the Level 2 Physics
Standard 90183, as well as give various examples relating to the
topic.
If you
are new to the website, please be sure to take a look at the “Before
we Begin” page. This will explain how to interpret the formulas,
figures and equations; as well as describe some of the features we
have used.
Experienced
viewers can select any of the topics on the left which are available
for printing and redistributable as one may see fit.
Thank
you for using this site.
