Myself

I'm Gareth Blake Hall and currently attend Westlake Boys' High School. At the start of the year I decided to pursue cycling as a sport, which I have long enjoyed as far as I can remember. It has proven to be one of the best decisions of my school career, as I thoroughly enjoy it. Though waking early for training was quite tedious at the start, it is well worth it. I honestly believe that New Zealanders should be quicker to adopt cycling as one of the country's leading sports since it has so many positive attributes. I feel that cycling is yet to be discovered properly, as it is such an amazing sport that is so enjoyable. I have even noticed myself feeling fitter, happier and more energized than ever.

Cycling is not my only hobby. My interests range from directing, to marketing, to business, to swimming, tennis, art, robotics and composing. Amongst other things. Obviously another is web design, where one of my main sites that showcase some of my work is listed below in my footer as Purple Phoenix.

Credits

I would like to thank two people in particular. Firstly my parents who always support me, but especially my mother, Kim Hall, who went through my entire site with me and helped with numerous things, such as taking the majority of the photos shown and proof reading the entire site. Also to a teacher at my school, Mr. Bright, who has helped us with cycling this year such as driving us down to Te Awamutu for a week long cycling camp. He also provided some of the fantastic photos shown on this site.

Everything on this site was designed, created and programmed by me, from scratch. Though the photos were supplied, I did touch them up.
