In our site we will explain how to make and fly model hot air balloons.
We made hot air balloons with our principal, Mr Martin. We used tissue paper, glue sticks, cardboard, cotton balls and wire. We used methylated spirits as our fuel.
The first balloon we made burst into flames because it was too windy. We had to make a new one.
The second one we made was bigger and better. We took our balloon to Neale Park. We yelled and screamed when it lifted off (except for Sean).
